As we continue to expand our network, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary

As a Surveyor at Maverix Broadband you will play a crucial role a crucial role in calculating land boundaries in various locations and generating accurate maps and reports of survey results for our clients. This position requires hands-on experience with engineering instruments and proficiency in GPS and GIS.

Functions and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Field surveying with industry standard tools and equipment to record accurate GPS coordinates
• Evaluating environmental conditions
• Verifying existing and creating new as-built diagrams of infrastructure
• Assisting in planning and verification of properties and infrastructure in expansion areas
• Walking customers through our services and answering questions
• Demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

We currently work with outside engineering and surveying firms. We need an individual who can be organized and communicate with these outside teams to coordinate projects. An ideal candidate would have experience with aligning, inserting, and reading GPS data into a CAD software, but is not required.

Education/Experience

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Minimum 3 years surveyor experience
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Party chief experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Safety is our number one concern.

• Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.

• Ability to drive to/from work sites.
• Ability to follow OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards
• Ability to walk up to 3 miles per day on terrain such as gravel, pavement, grass, etc

Compensation: $45 - $75/yr
